The infamous horn section of the Kyteman Orchestra, which blew up every Dutch festival stage under the sun in recent years, has names such as Wende, Typhoon and Orkater on its resume. The international five-piece polished their own style, brushed it up to include original compositions and personal arrangements and since refers to their sound as ‘jazzpop meets neoclassical’. Their debut album Keyo was nominated for an Edison (a Dutch Grammy).
