It’s more than safe to say we’re proud to present father and son John and Gerald Clayton as International Artists in Residence in Amersfoort this year.
Together or apart, both men are world-class artists; father John Clayton (Count Basie) works with The New Jazz Orchestra, Orchestra Jazz Siciliana and a number of prominent Dutch names, as son Gerald, a six-time Grammy nominee, joins the Jazz Orchestra of the Concertgebouw and the National Youth Jazz Orchestra (NJJO) as pianist and band leader.
