Lauded by the Miles Davis Institute, Van der Molen presents her project Ascenseur pour l’Échafaud, a concert and conversation about the famous Miles Davis soundtrack for the movie by the same name. The Dutch trumpeter will discuss and display Davis’ tonal period in an interactive introduction to both this aspect of the jazz legend’s work as well as her own approach to tradition, trend and timelessness.
