JOSEPH BOWIE meets BOHEMIAN GROOVE
Living legend Joseph Bowie wrote history with the New York formation DEFUNKT, shaking up audiences around the world with their mix of funk, punk and jazz, and welcoming illustrious greats such as Kim Clarke, Tobias Ralph, Vernon Reid and Bowie’s own Lester, Byron and Bahnamous Bowie among their ranks. Bowie’s resume is long and spans multiple decades, including collaborations with greats such as Candy Dulfer, POW Ensemble and Licks&Brains in The Netherlands.

With Bohemian Groove, he presents odd-meter shenanigans, rousing grooves, analog synths and virtuosic jazzrock solos, joined by adventurous keyboardist Stormvogel and inspiring artists such as trumpeter Ruud Breuls, saxophonist Peter Lieberom and guitarist Twan van Gerven.
