Beets-Meutgeert New Jazz Orchestra is an inspired combination of experienced musicians and up-and-coming jazz talent. Composer and arranger Henk Meutgeert and pianist Peter Beets are at the helm and explore a different theme with each concert through surprising ensemble playing, enchanting solos and, of course, razor-sharp swing. This time the famous compositions of George Gershwin are central.

For the October edition of Amersfoort World Jazz Festival, Beets Meutgeert Jazz Orchestra presents itself with a lineup packed with Next Generation as the backbone of the concert programme.
