Layered synths, clear polyphonics, big beats; Anne is inspired by the 80s, choosing the green crystal Beryl as her first name under her moniker to symbolize her music’s transparence and depth.
Really, Beryl Anne is singer songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Anne den Boer (1995). In 2019 she released her debut EP, Land of Mine, and celebrated with a sold out show in Roodkapje, Rotterdam. In late 2021 she released its successor, Paper Walls, full of the tasty electronic indie pop that Anne uses to lay foundations for the future. And the future looks as bright as it does colorful; Anne won a Best Art Music Video Award at the International Music Video Awards in London, UK for her self-produced video accompanying her track Burden.
