Announcing the first names for the 2024 Amersfoort World Jazz Festival line-up. This summer the festival will present a diverse and adventurous program from Wednesday 14th to Sunday 18th August, featuring more than eighty concerts on various indoor and outdoor stages in the historic city center of Amersfoort.

Performing on the main stage at Lieve Vrouwekerkhof, singer Ntjam Rosie ft. bigband Licks & Brains, Het Nationaal Jeugd Jazz Orkest with Maite Hontelé, the New Jazz Orchestra, and living jazz legends Deborah Brown and Houston Person.
Legend Night at Observant
The festival kicks off on Wednesday evening with a Legends evening at Observant, featuring performances by Edwin Corzilius & Frits Landesbergen Quartet, Lex Jasper Quartet, and Edwin Rutten.
Houston Person and Deborah Brown are our International Artists in Residence
Saxophone virtuoso Houston Person and jazz vocalist Deborah Brown will be presenting as International Artists in Residence (IAIR) next year. Both originating from the United States, Person and Brown have left an indelible mark on the world of World Jazz. During the festival, they will perform in various special line-ups.
Peter Beets is the National Artist in Residence
Peter Beets is challenged to step into the role of National Artist in Residence (NAIR) and explore new musical dimensions with pianist Mike Boddé and Peter Beets on church organ, alongside multiple international talents.
