Dutch Jazz Release Stages

Due to the great success of the last edition of Dutch Jazz Release Stages (DJRS), this program component will also return next year! In collaboration with Sena Performers Music Production Fund and Dutch Performers House, more than 20 Dutch acts present their releases. Among them established names like Artvark ft. Claron McFadden, Susanne Alt & Band and Paul van Kessel, but also representatives of the next generation of jazz musicians such as JAÏNDA, Sanne Sanne, Greener Grass, ChaChaChalina and Dawn Patrol. Live music bar Observant and the historical Menzaal are the locations for DJRS this year.

Next Step concerts

In 2023 we will present a new series of Next Step concerts, a spin-off of the DJRS. 15 formations from home and abroad present their own brand new music here. With the Next Step concerts we offer the new generation of jazz talents a stage to show the best of themselves. The focus is on the next generation: musical talent that will carry our festival in the future. This year’s Next Step concerts will take place in the Sint Aegtenkapel and muziekcafé Miles.
