AMERSFOORT JAZZ HERITAGE WALKS

AMERSFOORT JAZZ HERITAGE WALKS
Amersfoort Jazz cherishes the beautiful inner city of Amersfoort as an unique backdrop for its festival. To emphasize this, the organization presents Amersfoort Jazz Heritage Walks on Saturday afternoon: guided walks, combined with a fully fledged concert programme at nine historical locations throughout the city. For international attenders, there is an English spoken guided walk available. All concerts are also publicly accessible.

GUIDED WALKS & SMALL CONCERTS

Each guided Jazz Heritage Walk is concluded with a special semi-acoustic performance at an historical venue in Amersfoort. Among the artists are reknowned musicians in unusual formations and unique settings, selecting a mixture of various doctrines, methods or styles of music, next to dazzling young jazz talents from the Netherlands and a singer-songwriter from Belgium. Now, this is typical Amersfoort Jazz… For where else do you find a Sierra Leone born Belgian singer, performing R&B at an illustrious medieval citygate?
